History of the veterinary x-ray

Next it is described, in summarized lines, those landmarks of the specialty. It is a form to have a certain idea of the years that this specialty has and how we must face this way the present and future times, in the oncológica area.
- 1906. Richard Eberlein reports his results of the veterinary x-ray. The father of the x-ray considers itself.
- 1920 until that year advance neither in veterinary nor human x-ray.
- 1927 the faculty of veterinary medicine of Vienna, founds the Institute Roentgen. His director Alois Pommer reports works of tolerance and dosimetria in dogs and horses.
- 1938 an equipment of low energy in the Faculty of Vet settles. Of Pensilvania, the USA.
- 1958 the publications of Pommer influence practices it of the RT.
- 1959 In the Univ. Colorado, is made training in x-ray in extensive form.
- 1960 L.N. Owen of the University of Cambridge was first in using an accelerator for the veterinary RT.
- 1961 Doctor Gillette assumes the direction of the veterinary x-ray in the University of Colorado, the USA.
- 1969 Comienzan the clinical protocols of RT in the University of Colorado.
- 1981 the first accelerator for clinical use in the Univ settles. of Colorado.
- 1994 the specialty of Radiating Oncología by the American College settles down of Veterinary Radiology.
- 1997 the first animals radiate themselves, in systematic and protocolic form in the City of Buenos Aires.
- 1998 the Center of X-ray for Animals of Buenos Aires is inaugurated (CRABA).
- 2000 the project of development of the Area of Radiating Therapy in the Hospital appears School of Small Animals of the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires.
- 2000 one projects, ?the second? Center of X-ray for Animals of Buenos Aires, for the last fourth month period of he himself year, in the CEMV- Center of Veterinary Specialties Medical.
